Your questions,

Which program is right for my student? Rising Seniors are students currently in their Junior year of high school The CAE Essentials track is a separate, concurrent track for rising 10th and 11th graders, with training tailored to an earlier stage of the process.
Can my student attend without a parent? Rising seniors may attend independently with staff supervision during the entire program, including airport transfers. Students are expected to manage their morning routine and follow the daily schedule. Essentials students must attend with a parent or chaperone.
What is included in tuition? Every package includes 20+ classes and two Broadway shows. Rising seniors can choose program-only attendance, a shared hotel room, or a private hotel room. CAE Essentials includes a private room with the required parent or chaperone and tickets to both Broadway shows for the student and one parent. Optional pre-screen filming and the Parent Pass are priced separately.
How do meals work? Hotel guests receive a hot breakfast buffet, students plan and pack for lunch, and staff coordinate dinner ordering around the class schedule. Lunch supplies and dinners are additional expenses, and the hotel rooms have a full kitchen.
What should students bring? Bring two monologue options, two favorite 32-bar song cuts and the rest of your book, plus jazz shoes. Come ready to try new material and adjustments.
Where do students stay and train? CAE uses midtown manhattan rehearsal studios and nearby hotel accommodations. For student safety, hotel and studio details are shared with registered families, or upon reaching out for more information.
Are scholarships available? CAE does not offer scholarships or sponsorships for this program. Please look to our parent program, SSTI, for limited need-based sponsorships every summer.
Is pre-screen filming required? No. Pre-screen filming is an optional addition for rising seniors. The $775 fee includes recording vocal and acting pre-screens with a professional film crew and accompanist, plus an additional night’s hotel stay.
